Our Story
At Faulkner’s Fresh Fisheries, fishing isn’t just a job—it’s a family legacy. Owner and operator Bart Mansi IV has been fishing the waters of Long Island Sound since he was just 7 years old, learning the ropes alongside his father, Bart Mansi III, a dedicated lobsterman who’s been on the water since 1971. With 29 years of hands-on experience, Bart continues the tradition with pride, hard work, and a passion for delivering the freshest seafood possible.
Our season runs from early May through Christmas, with Bart and the crew out on the water seven days a week. Whether it’s for local markets or wholesale buyers, every catch is a testament to generations of knowledge, commitment, and respect for the sea. We’re proud to carry on this way of life—and even prouder to bring the bounty of Long Island Sound straight to our community.
